The Board of Directors of MISA/ASIM Canada has opened nominations for the 2010 Peter Bennett Award.

The award, the highest honour given specifically to municipal IT leaders in Canada, is for outstanding service to the cause of municipal e-Government. The 2010 award is scheduled to be presented at the Lac Carling Congress on June 14 at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

Peter Bennett was a founder of MISA/ASIM Canada, a national visionary and IT manager for the City of Winnipeg. He died suddenly just days before he would have attended the 2005 Lac Carling Congress as its municipal co-chair.

A nomination form is enclosed. Please send nominations by March 31 to Kathryn Bulko, a member of the MISA/ASIM Canada board, at kbulko@toronto.ca.
