MISA Ontario holds its Annual Conference and Tradeshow each spring and presents a national IT Security Conference each fall. In both cases member municipalities serve as hosts and provide the organizing teams.
From May 27 - 30, Hamilton, Ontario will host the MISA Ontario Annual Conference and Tradeshow at the Convention Centre in downtown Hamilton. Registration for this event will open in January 2012.
The Municipal Information Systems Association of Ontario's 10th Annual Security Conference will be held from October 21 - 23, 2012. The City of Barrie, on behalf of the MISA Executive, will be hosting this event, entitled "Security in a Mobile Workforce". Registration for this event will open in mid-2012..
This conference is designed to attract IT professionals and business executives responsible for the creation, delivery and management of frameworks/strategies for information security, risk management, compliance, and business continuity.
