2006 Annual MISA Conference & Tradeshow
The Westin Hotel, June 4-7, 2006

Leveraging Technology for Value and Performance - Taking IT to the Top!

Delegates will be invited to participate in the annual Golf Tournament, to be held on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at The Meadows Golf & Country Club. Golfers will be whisked in style aboard OC Transpo buses between the host Westin Hotel and the Golf Club!

The Opening Reception will be held at the Ottawa Congress Centre Terrace adjacent to the Westin Hotel - an outdoor venue overlooking the Rideau Canal and National Arts Centre. Following the reception and awarding of Golf Prizes, a hospitality suite will be offered at the Westin for conference delegates.

Monday's Program will kick off with breakfast in the Trade Show area, followed by Canada's award-winning Mentalist, MIKE MANDEL. Mike's pointed, uniquely entertaining, cutting-edge approach delivers gigabytes of fascinating and useful information.

Concurrent speaking sessions and panel discussions will be held in the Westin Hotel from Monday through Wednesday, with coffee breaks and lunches held in the Trade Show areas to maximize interaction with the vendors. The Trade Show will be in the main ballroom of the Westin Hotel on Monday and Tuesday.

The Monday night social event will include an informal evening at the Aviation Museum, a short bus ride just east of downtown on the Ottawa River, bringing technology of a different kind to the fore! The museum is reserved for our exclusive use, and will include live entertainment presented by Ambush, bars and a buffet Tex-Mex meal provided by LoneStar, interspersed throughout the exhibits.

Tuesday will begin Tod Maffin as our keynote speaker. Tod is Canada's leading high-tech futurist, and one of the country's go-to commentators on the impact of technological change and innovation on the business and economic environment. The Tuesday night Banquet and awards ceremony will be a formal sit-down event at the Westin Hotel, with a first class meal and live entertainment.

The conference will wrap up on Wednesday, June 7.
